Slay the Spire - Meets Dorfromantik

Wild Country: A Cozy Card Game

Wild Country, a cozy card game with elements of city-building, takes inspiration from popular games like Slay the Spire, Dorfromantik, and Civilization 6. The game will soon be available on Steam.

Slay the Spire meets Dorfromantik

Slay the Spire is known for its intricate deck-building system that encourages experimentation. Dorfromantik, on the other hand, is renowned for its cozy atmosphere in city-building. By combining these two elements and adding adorable animals in the style of Animal Crossing, you get Wild Country, a new "cozy-competitive" strategy game developed by indie studio Lost Native.

Turn-based Showdowns and Unpredictable Shenanigans

The "battles" in Wild Country are turn-based showdowns where you use your handcrafted deck to place buildings and expand your town. You can also target and disrupt or destroy your opponent's structures. But beware! Natural disasters and a gang of raccoons await you.

Endless Fun and Strategic Gameplay

  • Collect Cards: As you explore the colorful land of Big Sky Canyon, you collect cards and outfits for your character.
  • Attack Enemy Structures: You receive cards that allow you to attack your opponent's structures.
  • Natural Disasters: You also have to deal with earthquakes, snowstorms, and raccoons.
  • Available on Steam: The game does not have a set release date but will be available on Steam soon.

If you're already curious and can't wait any longer, add Wild Country to your wishlist on Steam and follow its progress. Whether you're new to the world of card games or an experienced fan, Wild Country offers endless fun, strategic gameplay, and unpredictable shenanigans!
