Watch Dogs 3 - The third part will be called Legion

Watch Dogs 3: Legion is rumored to be unveiled at E3 in Los Angeles as early as 2019. A release before 2020 would also still be possible, which would mean a sequel to Watch Dogs 2 after three years. This would give Ubisoft a year longer than for parts 1 and 2 of the Watch Dogs series.

Since there is no official information from Ubisoft yet, you have to rely on the rumors. These began as early as 2018 after a patch for Watch Dogs 2 was released. This patch extended the final scene of the game by a few seconds. In this very extension you receive a radio transmission of a Deadsec hacker group, which reports that the group has spread all over the world.

This very transmission is sent from coordinates that lead to the metropolis of London with millions of inhabitants. Another hint was given by the Ubisoft AI named Sam, who helps users of the Ubisoft Club App with problems. If you ask Sam something about Watch Dogs 3, you will receive the answer: "Watch Dogs 3 is not finished yet. But the last early version I tested was very decent. The development team is working wonders, I can't wait for you to try it out!". In addition to these hints from Ubisoft, there are more rumors from the Watch Dogs fan scene.

The name of the third part is already supposed to be known and to be called "Watch Dogs Legion". In addition to the change of continent, there are supposed to be even more major changes.

The game is not supposed to boast as many and large weapons as before and is supposed to concentrate more on hacking and close combat. A character editor is also supposed to be included, which will allow you, in addition to an individual appearance, for the first time a free choice of gender.

Furthermore, the Twitter user "Wario64" has posted a tweet in which he reports that Watch Dogs Legion was briefly listed on Amazon Uk at https://amzn.to/2IewqD2.

The product text was: "Watch Dogs Legion is set in a near-future, dystopian version of London. It's a post-Brexit world in which society, politics and technology have changed and altered London's fortunes."

Watch Dogs Legion is therefore set in a London in the near future, which is characterized by dystopia - in other words, the exact opposite of utopia. The Brexit is already several years in the past and has greatly influenced society, politics and technology. It remains to be seen whether it will be anything like George Orwell's novel 1984. From 11 to 14 June 2019, the E3 will take place in Los Angeles and Ubisoft will certainly reveal more there. In addition to a release date and first images, there may already be first trailers or gameplay, which we will of course pass on to you.
