Wartales Update - New Possibilities and Control

Welcome, Mercenary!

Get ready for our second update preview for Wartales, where the developers give you a taste of some of the upcoming changes and additions to camp and troop management. Stay tuned for more detailed information about the new features and changes coming your way with Community Update #2.

Troop Name and Title

In Wartales, your companions are not just a group of characters. They form a collective. They share the same story. And the developers want to give you more control over this story. New ways to shape it. More opportunities to think about who your companions are, what they do, and where they're going next.

Companion Interactions

The developers are giving you new tools to influence relationships, for better or for worse. Whether you want to control a group of irritable sociopaths or recreate the Summer of Love in 1967 - anything is possible! Two new interactions can be unlocked in the compendium:

  • Good friends can have a drink together and talk about life.
  • Enemies can insult each other.

Recruitment Notices

Player agency is important in Wartales. That's why the developers have introduced a new tool for players who want to recruit very specific characters: Recruitment notices in taverns.

Contextual Camp Tools

Traveling in Wartales is now even more realistic! The developers have spruced up the camp with new contextual tools:

  • In fields, you'll find haystacks that can serve as beds or snacks.
  • In vineyards, there are delicious grapes.
  • In forests, you'll find cracked tree trunks for collecting resin.

All of these new features make Wartales an even more immersive experience. We can't wait to hear about your adventures! And if you're looking for more exciting games - check out our Steam Key page!

Final Words

This was just a taste of the upcoming update for Wartales. As always, we look forward to hearing your thoughts on the upcoming features and changes.
