S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl - a long-awaited sequel

After more than a decade of waiting since its initial announcement, the release date for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl has finally been confirmed. As the fourth main installment in the series, the game follows S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat from 2009 and will be released by GSC Game World early next year.

The Zone - a place full of dangers

Like its predecessors, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 also takes place in the irradiated wasteland near Chernobyl, affectionately known as "the Zone". From deadly anomalies to dangerous creatures, the Zone is a place full of challenges and adventures.

Survival in a Deadly Environment

In S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, survival comes first. With deadly anomalies caused by radiation and other environmental threats, the game offers an intense gaming experience. The biggest threat is something called "The Emission," a powerful storm that turns the sky red and instantly kills any unprotected player.

Shooting Game and Character Interaction

Although there are still some improvements to be made in terms of aiming and shooting, the game already offers an exciting combat experience with strong recoil and long reload times. The interaction with other characters may still feel a bit unfinished, but it promises interesting encounters nonetheless. So, it's definitely worth the wait for S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2: Heart of Chornobyl!
