Skull and Bones - The Path to the Padewakang Ship

Your journey to the Padewakang ship

In Ubisoft's pirate epic Skull and Bones, the Padewakang ship stands out as the first medium-sized ship that you can unlock. However, the path to this coveted ship is anything but a walk on the deck. You can expect not only strong enemies and treacherous waves that can easily destroy your ship, but also the challenge of reaching a sufficiently high level of infamy to gain access in the first place.

Where can I find the blueprint for the Padewakang?

The key to building the Padewakang lies in acquiring its blueprint. You can purchase this from the shipbuilder in the pirate stronghold of Telok Penjarah for 5,280 silver. To do so, you must have achieved at least the rank of Brigand or higher in terms of fame. You can find the shipbuilder to the left of the dock area in Telok Penjarah.

Getting to Telok Penjarah

To reach Telok Penjarah, it is best to first travel to Sainte-Anne and then sail northeast into the East Indies. On your journey, you will encounter level nine or ten enemies and must fend off waves of rogues that have the potential to destroy your ship in a single blow. We recommend avoiding confrontation with enemies whenever possible, as the battle is often not worth the reward.

Materials for the Padewakang ship

To build the Padewakang, you will need the following materials:

  • 18x ironwood planks
  • 15x steel ingots
  • 15x fine ramie
  • 4x shellac
  • 4x raw saltpeter
  • 2,880 silver

Once you have gathered these ingredients, you can visit the same shipbuilder in Telok Penjarah to construct your Padewakang.

Advantages of the Padewakang ship

The Padewakang excels in area damage, allowing you to attack multiple enemy ships simultaneously. It also possesses the ability to Detonate, causing damage beyond the initial hit.

With your new, larger ship, you can now face more challenging opponents, higher-level ships, and other threats in Skull and Bones. If you want to establish yourself as a serious threat on the seas, why not bring a pet on board as well? After all, sailing the seven seas is even more fun with a furry lemur by your side. It turns out you can also obtain a pet through the currently running Skull and Bones Twitch Drops, so be sure to check out your favorite streamer.

An essential ship for aspiring pirates

The Padewakang ship in Skull and Bones offers a fantastic blend of agility and firepower, ideal for players looking to make a name for themselves in Ubisoft's pirate world. The investment in this ship and the accompanying journey proves to be a rewarding adventure that tests not only your sailing skills but also your strategic thinking. With the Padewakang in your fleet, you are well-equipped to dominate the oceans and increase your fame among pirates.
