Lost Ark: Setting Sail for New Horizons
Hey gamers, pack your bags because we're moving! Lost Ark has announced a major region merge, bringing together Western Europe and Central Europe on August 30th. But don't worry, this doesn't mean server consolidation, just the integration of regions. So what does this mean for you? We've got all the details right here.
Market, Auction House, and Currency Exchange
Before the merge, all active market and auction house product registrations, as well as currency exchange offers, will be cancelled. After the merge, there will be a deletion of all auction house and market transaction histories, recent transactions, and interest lists. So make sure to double-check if you have everything sorted!
Guild and Character Names
Character names from Western Europe that are already taken in Central Europe will be reset. So, when you log in for the first time after the merge, you will be prompted to change your name. The same applies to guild names: Overlapping guild names from Western Europe will have a "#" added before their name and can be changed by the guild master.
Social Interaction in the Game
There are also some adjustments in the social aspect. Open friend requests will not be canceled, but they will reflect the name changes due to the merge. The character names in the friend and block lists will also reflect these changes. The global chat will remain in Central Europe, but the global chats and chat history from Western Europe will be deleted.
Progression Events
For progression events like "Super Mokoko Express" & "Story Express Events," the event status with the higher progression will be maintained. If the progression is the same, the event info of the character with a higher item level will be preserved.
Tickets & Tokens
There is also a regulation here: Purchased tickets/tokens will be combined, as well as free tickets/tokens – however, any excess beyond the limit will be discarded.
