New Map: Reclaimed
The new map Reclaimed takes you to the year 2048, where an abandoned industrial area in the Czech Republic becomes the scene of a fierce battle. The map is specially designed for vehicle combat and also offers exciting opportunities for close combat actions in the forest area.
Map Rework: Hourglass
Based on your feedback, we have reworked our starting maps to improve the player experience. In Season 5, the last reworked map awaits you: Hourglass.
New Weapons: XCE Bar, GEW-46, BFP.50
This season, we are expanding the weapon arsenal of Battlefield 2042 with three new weapons:
- XCE Bar: A highly precise bolt-action rifle with extended customization options
- GEW-46: An assault rifle with high stability in short bursts
- BFP.50: A powerful hand cannon for high damage at short range
Evolving Vault Weapons
In Season 5, we are adapting Vault weapons for use with All-Out Warfare attachments. Initially, we are focusing on assault rifles and sniper rifles such as M16A3, A-91, M416, MTAR-21, AEK-971, and GOL Sniper Magnum.
New Gadgets: Spring Grenade, Anti-Tank Grenade, Mini Grenade
With three new grenades, we are also expanding the gadget arsenal of Battlefield 2042:
- Spring Grenade: A grenade that jumps to head height and then explodes
- Anti-Tank Grenade: A grenade that explodes on impact against vehicles and causes significant damage
- Mini Grenade: An anti-personnel grenade with a smaller explosion radius but longer throwing range
Reworking Vehicle Loadouts
To clearly define the combat roles of vehicles and improve readability on the battlefield, we are reworking the vehicle loadouts this season.
New Battle Pass
In Season 5, two factions with different styles and characters await you. The cosmetic items reflect these differences and are available through the 100 levels of the free and premium Battle Pass.
