Papers Please is a simulation game in which players take on the role of a nameless passport control officer in a fictional totalitarian state and are responsible for entry control. It was developed by the American video game developer Lucas Pope as a kind of morality game. Papers Please first appeared in August 2013 for Microsoft Windows and Mac OS. A version for Linux is available since February 2014 and in December 2017 the game was released again for Playstation Vita.

The fictitious totalitarian state of Arstotzka owns one half of the border town of Grestin. The other half belongs to the likewise fictitious neighbouring country Kolechien. Kolechien has just lost a war against Arstotzka. Now every day people from the cookery part of Grestin try to get to the other side in Arstotzka. This is where you come into play and as the immigration inspector you have to decide who is allowed to enter Arstotzka, who is turned away, and who has to go to prison. For among the people who are willing to enter the country are not only refugees and workers, but possibly also terrorists and smugglers. Every day, however, the conditions of entry change and you have to decide according to them. The extent of a bureaucracy that has gone mad and its effects on people are brought home to you. But to make money and feed your family, you have to follow the rules.

Papers Please is experimental, different, and offers you such a unique experience. However, the graphics are very simple. If you would like to buy a Papers Please Key, please visit our comparison portal. Here you will find many suppliers of Papers Please Keys.
